The Pitching Machine is an automatic machine to pitch natural stone and concrete blocks by working on four sides simultaneously, to create an elegant and natural looking product.
Nippy can satisfy most special industry requirements thanks to the use of flexible control software. The Pitching Machine process is carried out using 4 special blades made of anti-wearing steel working at high speed on the 4 edges of the split side simultaneously.
Nippy is provided with a block rotating device installed at the entrance of the machine, to rotate the block by 180°, for blades to see the split sides of the product. 
After the blocks have been pitched, they are moved through an out-feed trolley to the transport belt, transferring them to the unloading station.
The frontal in-feeding the Pitching Machine process was conceived to be installed in line after any kind of splitting machine.
The Pitching Machine process off-cuts are collected by a rubber belt positioned just below the pitching position and conveyed to a waste box, to be safely removed by the operator. 
Machine functions may be easily personalised through easy-to-use controls, to make any changes in product processing.
The machine is provided with a system of telediagnostics,
to check the plant without any direct intervention by our technicians, therefore finding faults and making recipe modifications from a distance.
Should processing operations be realised on different block sizes, the Pitching Machine manual regulations and blade changes are fast and easy to be made: the operator can start a new pitching process with blocks of different dimensions within 15 minutes max.
